2025 has been a rough year.
I’d like to explain the circumstances behind this in this article.
Changes in Lifestyle and Deteriorating Health
As I mentioned in my May Developer Letter, my living environment changed dramatically in late April due to various circumstances.
I continued to balance work and family responsibilities, but my health began to deteriorate around summer.
I’ve been suffering from what’s known as depression, and my condition fluctuates depending on the season.
The nature of my work makes it difficult to completely stop work and take a break.
While I’m managing to respond to emails and handle required updates, I don’t have much energy to focus on creative work.
Although this is an extremely difficult situation, I will prioritize supporting my family’s livelihood and then work hard to recover so that I can return to my energetic development efforts.
Towards 2026
I apologize for keeping you waiting for so long.
While it is difficult to make long-term forecasts at this time, I would like to work hard to recover and provide major updates and new titles in 2026, if possible.
