Introduction
Buriedbornes was released on August 11, 2016.
Ten years later, Buriedbornes has grown into a popular title with over 3 million cumulative users.
This special page introduces the 10-year history of Buriedbornes.

August 11, 2016
Buriedbornes was released.
At launch, it was available on 3 platforms: Android, iOS, and Web.
Currently, the Web version is no longer available, and the PC version is available on Steam.

August 30, 2016
The first major update, v1.1.0, was released, adding the popular classes “Saint” and “Witch.”
English language support also began with this version.
The seasonal event “Fire sky” and the implementation of “Legendary Items” were also introduced, marking a period when the core of the current game system was gradually built.

October 26, 2016
The 2nd season event, “Applause,” was held with the major update v1.3.0.
Also, the PvP dungeon, “Tower of Immortality,” was added in this update.

December 7, 2016
The major update v1.4.0 launched the third season event, “Azure snow.”
Important systems, such as missions, job-specific passives, and camp items, were added in this version.

December 28, 2016
Registered users surpassed 100,000.

January 9, 2017
Short stories began to be published. (Short stories are japanese only.)
The memorable 1st story, “The Saint’s Wish,” depicts the tragic end of a certain saint.
The world of Buriedbornes expanded even further through these short stories.

v2.0.0 Update Arrives!
“Changes” (variable elements for skills and enemy monsters) were introduced in this version.
Also, the popular class “Wererabbit” began to be distributed through limited-time missions in this version.

The 4th Season Event, “Puppets,” was held.

March 22, 2017
A major update, v2.1.0, was released, adding a selectable dungeon and lab parts system.
Also, “Tower of Immortality” was discontinued, and the battle environment was replaced with “Hall of Karma.”
Multilingual support also began with this version.

March 29, 2017
The 5th Season Event, “Ruins,” was held.
From this season onwards, season-exclusive dungeons and bosses were introduced.

May 10, 2017
A major update, v2.2.0, was released, introducing the new currency, Gold Shards.
Also, different background music (BGM) is now played for each dungeon, starting with this version.

The 6th Season Event, “Ocean,” was held.

June 28, 2017
A major update, v2.3.0, was released, introducing “Skill Levels” and “Spread Curse.”
The 100F boss was also introduced, completing the current dungeon structure in this version.

A Gold Shard distribution campaign was held to commemorate the first anniversary of the game’s release and the milestone of 300,000 registered users.

A major update, v3.2.0, was released, introducing the “Encounter” feature.
Previously, the only option was to kill each other.
Now, players can take various actions towards the corpses of other players encountered in dungeons.
