If you are connected to the platform’s cloud services (Google Play Games, iCloud) and data saved on the platform in the past exists, the previous saved data will be automatically restored when the game is first launched.

The web version does not have this feature, so you will need to publish a backup code (the same procedure as if you wanted to transfer the data you were playing with to another device).
