The distribution page for the Android version changed from v4.1.0.

As a result, local saves are not retained for the new version.

Instead, data is carried over to the new version via Google Play Games save data restoration.

Below, we explain how to carry over data in each case.

If the old version is installed (using Google Play Games):

Follow the steps below to transfer save data from the old version.

1. Launch the “Play Games” app, select Buriedbornes, open Settings, and confirm the account you want to use.
2. Launch the old version of Buriedbornes.
3. Open “Save Data Management” from the Town Menu and press the “↑” button on the left.
4. This will upload your save data to Google Play Games.
5. Launch the new version of Buriedbornes.
6. Press the “Data” button on the title screen to open the Save Data Management screen, then press the “↓” button.
7. Select the “Google Play Games” option and download your data.

If you do not use Google Play Games:

Follow the steps below to transfer save data from the old version.

1. Launch the old version of Buriedbornes.
2. Open “Save Data Management” from the Town Menu, issue a backup code, and save the code.
3. Then, press the “↑” button on the right to upload your save data to the game server.
4. Launch the new version of Buriedbornes.
5. Press the “Data” button on the title screen to open the Save Data Management screen, then press the “Restore from Backup Code” button.
6. Enter the code issued in step 2 and follow the instructions to download your data.

If the old version is not installed:

If you have not prepared for migration, there will be no way to directly restore your old version data.

Please note that if you do not have a backup code or purchase history, and have not linked your account to Google Play Games, we will not be able to restore your save data.
